ASA WOMEN USA Teams Up With GlobalGiving for Cancer 5K Walk/Run

Nationwide - April 22, 2024 (USANews.com) -

ASA WOMEN USA is proudly announced its collaboration with GlobalGiving to host the 2024 5K Walk/Run for Hope & Fight to End Cancer. This event aimed to raise funds for ASA Women USA's legacy project focused on improving healthcare access for indigent women with cancer and other maternal health concerns in Nigeria.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM, the event will take place at the Glenndale Community Center, WB&A Trail, 11901 Glenndale Blvd, Glenndale, Maryland 20769.

"This 5K Walk/Run is not just a physical activity; it's a collective effort to bring hope and tangible support to women battling cancer and facing maternal health challenges in Nigeria," Dr. Anthonia Uche Umeh, the president of the foundation said.
