Overcoming significant challenges, including the island's rocky terrain, required innovative solutions. Granger collaborated with Advanced Composting Systems (ACS) and introduced the Valentini AL 2300 to improve soil conditions. These advancements, combined with a reverse osmosis (RO) water system, addressed salinity issues and facilitated successful tobacco cultivation.

Despite initial skepticism from industry experts, the project’s viability became evident, leading to growing interest from tobacco veterans. At PCA 2024, Cayman Cigars showcased their progress, garnering attention from industry leaders who are now closely observing this pioneering effort. Cayman Cigars plans to expand their operations to include cultivating wrapper tobacco, aiming to produce boutique micro-crops of exceptional quality.
