Raised in a humble family in Mexico, Trejo began working at just 11 years old, planting corn and beans and assisting bricklayers to support his family. His commitment to hard work was inspired by his mother, whose sacrifices he sought to honor by seeking better opportunities in the United States.

In 2008, Trejo secured an H2B visa and made his way to Chicago, where he discovered landscaping—a career that immediately piqued his interest. Despite never having seen snow before, he embraced every challenge, learning snow removal and advanced landscaping techniques during his 11 years with a larger company.

But in 2020, Trejo took a leap of faith. Leaving his established role, he joined Dirty Deed’s Landscaping, a smaller company with big potential.
